Level I Pistol - April 18, 2020 (5 slots)
TRC Courses are always kept to a 7:1 ratio of students to instructor, so we are well within the guidelines for social distancing. We have also instituted additional health and safety measures as recommended by the CDC.
The Level I Pistol course is a full day of shooting and instruction for those who have some experience with a semi-automatic pistol, or revolver, and want to significantly improve their skills and accuracy. The course covers the fundamentals of firearm safety, and operation, and progresses fairly quickly through multiple progressively challenging shooting drills from distances out to 25 yards, malfunction drills, multiple targets, target transitions, and shooting from retention. *This course is taught by the TRC Training Director who is a sponsored competitive shooter, a former Army Ranger, as well as Instructor for the U.S. Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg.
