NC Concealed Carry Handgun - July 25, 2020 (FULL)
This course teaches the required laws governing the use of deadly physical force, the concealed carry statute and relevant issues related to carrying a concealed handgun in the state of North Carolina. Following the written test, students must also meet the NC Concealed Carry Handgun shooting skill requirements with a passing score. With this course certificate, students can then apply in their home county for a Concealed Carry Handgun permit.
In order to apply for your permit at the Sheriff's Office, you will need a valid NC Drivers License, the certificate from this course, and be at least 21 years old. You do not need a NC Drivers License in order to take the course.
**There is no shooting instruction included with this course. We recommend students take the TRC Basic or Introductory Pistol course PRIOR to taking the NC CCH Course in order to ensure a passing score.
Sturdy belt and holster that fits your pistol required. **No sharing of guns**
Plan to have enough magazines loaded to shoot 30 rds before needing to stop and reload mags.
100 rds of pistol ammo recommended,
Class runs from 8 am - 4pm.
