NC Concealed Carry Handgun - July 11, 2020 (Full)
This course teaches the required laws governing the use of deadly physical force, the concealed carry statute and relevant issues related to carrying a concealed handgun in the state of North Carolina. Following the written test, students must also meet the NC Concealed Carry Handgun shooting skill requirements with a passing score. With this course certificate, students can then apply in their home county for a Concealed Carry Handgun permit. When you apply for the permit at the Sheriff's office you will need to have your certificate from this course, your NC Driver's license and be at least 21 years old. You do not need to have the NC Driver's License to take this course, only when you apply on line or in person for the permit.
**There is no shooting instruction included with this course. We recommend students take the TRC Basic or Introductory Pistol course PRIOR to taking the NC CCH Course in order to ensure a passing score. Plan to have enough magazines loaded to shoot 30 rds before needing to stop and reload mags.
Recommend having 100 rds of pistol ammo.
