Course Title: 1-Day Intro to Basic Rifle Marksmanship
This 1-day course is designed for shooter that need/want instruction in basic rifle marksmanship with a bolt action or semi-automatic rifle equipped with iron or telescopic sights. The classroom portion, consisting of approximately 4 hours, will cover safety, equipment (rifle types, sights, accessories, ammunition), fundamental of marksmanship, (setting up position, adjusting the rifle). The remaining 4-hour range portion will be at 100 yards setting up rifle, shooting position and zeroing the rifle using the information covered in the classroom instruction.
Course Objectives: The overall objective for the shooter is to correctly set up the rifle, the firing position and to zero rifle.

Firearms requirement (student provided)
Ammo Requirements (Student Furnished): 40 rounds

Trying Schedule: Show time 7:30 a.m.
Individual Equipment (Student furnished):
Course includes: 8 hours of instruction and a certificate of competition.
Cost: $225 (Using personal rifle and ammo must be approved in advance by instructor)

- Demonstrate the firing position as it applies to the individuals shooting discipline.
- Demonstrate setting position and firing a shot.
- Zero the rifle at 100 yards
Firearms requirement (student provided)
- Rifles: Any type of high-power rifle.
- Sights: Telescopic or iron.
- System: Bolt action or semi-automatic.
Ammo Requirements (Student Furnished): 40 rounds

- Experience shooting high power rifles and understanding of firearms safety.
Trying Schedule: Show time 7:30 a.m.
Individual Equipment (Student furnished):
- Water/Snacks
- Hat and gloves
- Sun screen (non-greasy or water resistant recommended)
- Seasonal range clothing that is appropriate for laying and sitting on the ground.
- Rain gear
- Eye and ear protection
- Shooting mat (if you have/use one)
- Bipod if you use one
- Spotting scope if you have one
- Rifle cleaning equipment for your rifle
