The Range Complex’s versatile flat ranges and two live-fire ballistic shoot houses allow private training groups, military, and law enforcement units the flexibility to conduct static and maneuver live-fire training for individuals and small units. You won’t find a better range option for you, your team, or your clients on the East Coast than the dirt we provide here.

PUBLIC RANGE ACCESS

Non-members may be able to use our our public range during the following times:

Saturday: 9am-4pm
Sunday: 12pm-4pm*

RANGE 3: LONG DISTANCE RANGE (600 X 35 METERS)

5 rifle tables and 2 prone positions for shooters and spotters
Ability to rapidly reconfigure and support up to 25 pistol and/or carbine shooters
Full-and-half-size steel USPSA targets at 200-600 yards
Overhead shelter covering the firing line

BALLISTIC SHOOT HOUSES 1 AND 2

Shoot houses at The Range Complex are built with the latest state-of-the-art shock-absorbing concrete (SACON) technology. SACON’s non-ricocheting, non-fragmenting, bullet-trapping capabilities maximize the safety of students while maintaining a realistic training environment.

Here are the specifications of our two shoot houses. Please note that use of these shoot houses is limited to military, law enforcement, and approved firearms instructors/contractors only. Both are suitable for mechanical, ballistic, and limited-weight explosive breaching.

Shoot house rentals and instruction are available. If you are unable to self-administer your desired shoot house training exercises, our MAVRKS can provide training . Shoot House 1

This 875 sq. ft., single-story, fully ballistic live-fire shoot house is rated for pistol, frangible submachine gun, and rifle rounds. All interior and exterior walls are fully ballistic SACON. Shoot House 1 has four connecting rooms, two exterior entrances, and a central catwalk for instruction.

Shoot House 2

This 1,075 sq. ft., single-story, fully ballistic live-fire shoot house is rated for pistol, frangible submachine gun, and rifle rounds. Like Shoot House 1, all interior and exterior walls are fully ballistic SACON. Shoot House 2 has a central hallway with four rooms off the hallway, two exterior entrances, and a central catwalk for instruction.

Facility Information

The Range Complex is the premier destination for all manner of firearms training and product testing, whether you’re in the commercial defense sector, ex-military, or a private citizen looking to responsibly wield your 2nd Amendment rights. Our state-of-the-art facility has everything to reach your goals. Being privately owned, we have capabilities beyond your traditional government-run ranges — while staying 100% Department of Defense (D.O.D.) compliant.

Weapons and Ammunition Storage Magazine - ARMAG

Our 300 sq. ft. magazine meets the requirements for Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AAE) as specified in D.O.D. 5100.79-M (Appendix 2). This provides you with a temporary AAE storage option during your training visit.

Dive Training Pond

Perfectly suited for basic and/or recovery dive training operations or introductory small boat operations training, our 1.5-acre pond has a maximum depth of 22 feet that is foot-and-vehicle-accessible on all sides. Water is brackish and clean.

Classrooms & Instructor/Student Lounge

We have two 32-person classrooms, both featuring projection equipment, whiteboard, microwave, chilled water, and coffee pot. Classrooms provide a comfortable learning environment in close proximity to the rest of The Range Complex’s amenities. In addition to these two classrooms, the Instructor/Student Lounge has couches, dining area with large flat-screen monitor with HDMI cables for laptop hook-up, dining table, fridge, coffee pot, water, work area, and free Wi-Fi. All three buildings are easily accessible,(ADA compliant) climate-controlled, and located close to parking, our flat ranges, and rest rooms. Classrooms and Lounge are available for half or full-day rentals in conjunction with range rental or TRC-provided training courses. Email greg@therangecomplex.com to arrange in advance.

Full Service Restrooms

We have clean, ADA compliant, climate-controlled restrooms located near our Pro Shop and classrooms, and there are portable toilets located close to each flat range.
